A Day in Mykonos, Greece: Windmills, Pasta Fresca & My Travel Essentials

There are some places that feel like a dream the entire time you’re there — Mykonos was one of those for me.

From the moment I started walking through the narrow white streets, everything felt effortless. The light, the colors, the energy… it’s one of those places where you don’t even need a plan — you just wander and somehow end up exactly where you’re supposed to be.

One of my favorite moments was visiting the windmills. There’s something about them that feels so iconic, but also peaceful at the same time. The views are unreal, and it’s honestly one of the best photo spots on the island. Everywhere you turn feels like a picture waiting to happen.

Walking through Mykonos also means you’re constantly stopping for photos — little alleyways, blue doors, ocean views — and I was so glad I packed in a way that made everything easy to carry and access.
